Our founders, John and Brooke Grant, formed Grant Legal Group to provide a better law-firm experience. Most clients come to us overwhelmed by the legal system—which is quite understandable. The legal system can be very complicated, especially for non-attorneys. This is a problem we consider it our top priority to help with. Because we excel in our practice areas, we make the process as simple and easy as it can be.

We make sure each client knows what to expect and understands their legal options. And we listen carefully to each client’s goals and try in every way to meet them. The culture of excellent client service is hard to find in the legal field, and it is something our attorneys work hard to deliver in every case.

Our core values are the bedrock principles we consider most important to our law practice and the individuals running it.  These core values define who we are and are critical to our success. Our core values are:     

1. Help People. We believe our most important job as lawyers is helping people. We help our clients by simplifying their legal matter and explaining the important points in a clear and straightforward way. Also, every document we draft is easy to read and understand. By keeping it simple, we can best help people navigate the legal system to achieve their goals. 

2. Do Great Work. Our emphasis on “simple” by no means sacrifices quality. Indeed, quite to the contrary, simple packs the most punch. This is true not only with individuals but with judges. We have worked with enough judges to know they can’t stand long, rambling, convoluted legal arguments. Nor can we. Our no-nonsense style makes our work stand out from the rest. When a client hires us, they can trust that our work will be outstanding.  

3. Be Courageous. We embrace tough challenges. Many of our cases are appeals to the Mississippi Supreme Court, where often the cases are complex and high-stakes. We have the courage to take on these cases. And clients can be confident we will present their most compelling case to the court. 

4. Do What Is Right. We seek to do the right thing in every situation, which means we are honest, ethical, and moral. Our founders are Christians, who believe our work and our direction as a firm should be guided by Biblical principles. Indeed, our Christianity is the foundation for all our core values. Our Christian values shape who we are and how we practice law.
